CGW3 was born in Montgomery, AL and is a graduate of Troy University, in Troy AL, with a BS degree in graphic design with a photography minor. Since he was a child, he has been interested in various art forms and how they are used to communicate and evoke certain emotions. He was first introduced to art early on through numerous trips to museums, but it was in high school where he truly discovered his appreciation for it. Although he primarily does graphic design, his number one passion has always been photography. His affinity for photography comes from his hometown fine arts high school, Booker T. Washington Magnet, and photography teacher; all four years of his high school experience were spent there. It was at B.T.W. where he decided that creating art would forever be a necessary part of his life, and eventually, a career path. He has received numerous accolades for his photography work which include: Parent Teacher Student Association awards, a Scholastic silver key, and being featured in F-Stop Magazine's online exhibition. His drawing style is influenced by his favorite cartoons and television shows that he watched as a kid, which allow his work to feel different and stand out amongst others.
Some of the skills that I have include being adaptable, reliable, and a very quick learner. Throughout my attendance at Troy University, I qualified for the Provost’s List every year and plan to look for a career at an animation network, or mass media production company, in the future. I want a job opportunity that combines my graphic design and photography talents which would be used to work on large-scale projects. I currently work and reside in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
